Default 97 Broken Leaf Spring Replace ?

We have a 97 XLT sort bed with the 4.6, after changing the oil today it was noticed that one of the leaf springs was broken and missing a leaf with the other leaf spring being twisted. We are looking to buy a ultra lite travel trailer sometime in the near future and we're concerned about the weight on the suspension, now I know we'll need a weight distribution hitch for it but that's not the issue. My question is if we can put heavier duty springs on it like from a f250 or something, or if it would be better to replace them with new or used stock springs and then adding a helper spring.

The difference in the heavier duty springs in the number of leaves.
On the F150, 250, 350 I think they go from three, to four, and five leaves.
If it were me, I would check to make sure the 250 or 350 springs will fit and I put some used ones on the truck and replace the rear shocks with some new heavy duty shocks.

Replace them with stock springs (to maintain nice ride) and put some over load helper springs so when your towing it don't sag. Autozone or any retailer will have these add on springs.
