Default Thinking about changing up the exhaust...?

Right now i have a Cherry Bomb Extreme muffler with all the cat's and 5" tips on my 4.6. I've had it on for seems like forever and am ready for some change. Anybody got any opinions on if it'd sound better just without a muffler? And keep the cats. I can't be too loud because i don't want to wake the neighbors haha

Yea i like the way yours sounds. I'm just going after something with plenty of sound but not too much crackle. Everyone around where i live cuts em all off and just runs around town poppin and crackling, i've tried to keep mine something different than the norm

Haha. I love the sound of one screamin and poppin, its just round here, thats everyone. The problem i run into is i can only get so loud before you gotta deal with the pop. I have a buddy who had a '98 with a 4.6 and he cut off all mufflers, and the larger back two cats and it was pretty much amazing. The best sound i've ever heard. But he then got 2 tickets for noise...

I just went and checked out the 10 series and they look just like my muffler i have now haha. I guess i have Cherry bomb's version. But yea, i get alot of compliments on the sound, its louder than some of my friends trucks with wats supposed to be "louder". I may take off the two cats and just have the sound i have now but WAY louder lol
