I got a 32" in the grill and it does fine there. The Chinese knockoff puts out more than enough light for me and I wasn't looking to dump a ton of money into lighting on this truck. I'll probably put some quality bars on my new truck when I upgrade in a couple years. Just not worth it now.

We carry a good selection of these light bars on our website. We offer them with a wire harness and CREE bulbs too.

One thing to watch out for on the cheaper light bars is that the flood bulbs aren't always centered, and the circuit boards aren't wired the best.

We've sourced out some decent quality ones over here that use good gaskets, good bulbs, the flood bulbs are centered, and the circuit boards are redundantly wired. if one board were to fail, the rest of the boards would remain lit, and not go out on you.

We also offer a lifetime warranty on them. Here's a link to them on our website if you guys would like to see what we have to offer. LED Light Bar Kit

I really like this light bar, It is vary bright. Well made, I took it apart & took a closer look. I would buy another 30" but... If I didn't get in this big argument with the seller about power draw & misleading people. I guess now all them LED's are all like that.

Default eBay LED Light Bar stock 60 LED's to 60 Cree XP-G 5 watters?

I put together a little wiring diagram for the XP-G LED's, Now I know it may get hot. But, I only would have it on well I'm driving & only on with the High Beams. I'm going to put ARCTIC MX-4 Thermal Compound on all the LED's, Maybe it with help with cooling, by the way it is the BEST Thermal Compound on the Market, I had some left over from a computer build. It says you do not need to apply it a second time as it will last at least for 8 years.

Here is the Light Bar displaying Voltage & Watts

I partly opened it up & took a look inside.

They have these circuits on the board, I don't want any Voltage or Amp limiters & I'm only going to use it on a 12V system. So connected directly to a power source, 4 LED boards wired in series.

Correct me if I read that wrong......you rewired the LEDs and have NO resistance for current limiting? Just 12V to banks of 8? basically right off the battery?

3.6v LED's, 4 LED's wired in series, and pair of banks wire in parallel. all the LED's will be safe to run on a 12v system. (14.4V & 15.0V max)

Ok....just so you realize that your running less than one ohm. I'd concider that a short to the battery.

Here's the math.

Resistance = Volts(squared)/Watts

Ohms = 14(2) / 200
Ohms = 196 / 200
Ohms = .98

Do the same for 12 volts

X = 144 / 200
X = .72

I hope ya have some hefty wires for that mod job...... they gunna get HAWT!

Well I at least hope you have a fuse REALLY close to the battery on the wire that feeds these.

Good luck!
