Morning JGarcia's F-150,

I would take it to the dealership and see if they can't get it all fixed up for ya. I would think that it is going to cost you some $$$...

Once it is all done, get a second key and keep it at home. Don't try to break into your own truck.

BTW, from one newbie to another, welcome to the site.

sounds like you broke a wire or something off the pats tranciever. If you pull the plastic covers off yer steering column you will see a piece over the ignition cylinder.. Round piece that slips over the housing and has some wires on the back or underside.. That charges the key then the key sends a signal back to the tranciever enabling start up.. Just incase you put it in lock out try to turn the key on for ten seconds then off for thirty then back on. If its in lockout then that will re set it, if the pats light still flashs then you have a problem and the cluster wont send enable to the pcm
