I just purchased a 2002 Lariat, Super Crew and the Theft light does not come on. Pretty sure the system is not operating as it should. I can lock the doors and shake the vehicle and the horn does not sound. It does have the chip key system. Any advice. Maybe a pulled/blown fuse, but I cannot locate the correct fuse slot. TIA

Just a reminder, the theft light doesn't indicate an alarm system. It's an ignition thing.

The thief light is for pats and the chip inside your key. It's not an actual alarm, you could shake your truck until it falls apart and you wouldn't set it off :P
