97-03 and 04 Heritage are all the same far as I know.

97-03 Reg & Super Cab Straight Beds were all the same, the 99-current F250 tailgates even fit.

The 97-03 StepSide Beds were the same as the 01-03 Supercrew

Also a good portion, if not all, of the Super Duty's also have a tailgate that fits - although some of them have "Super Duty" debossed in them.

I'm pretty sure it's all the same. It looked the same to me anyway. But it's been a while since I looked at the tailgate on my nephew's 08 SD.

You have to trim a bit off a support near the taillight. Or maybe that's if your swapping tail lights also? Don't quite remember.
