Default tachometer intall

hey, i have a 1999 4.2l v6 5 speed and my truck came without a tach so what im thinking about doing is installing an aftermarket tach on my dash... no not the really big ricer style but, a 3 1/2" one with the reverse EL Glow white face that will match my newly installed El Glow White Face Guages that i made (boy what a pain in the *** that was). now to the question i had.... i have installed a few before but those are on vehicles that had only one coil so since this truck has 6 coil packs where the hell do you put the wire that recieves the tach info to make the needle move with the RPM's. is it one of the wires in the factory guage harness that i need to wire to for this to work? and also does anyone on here have any location ideas for this tach? maybe some pics of your install. thanks.

According to Bulldog security the white/pink wire # 48 at the pcm is the Tach signal wire. I am installing a 5 1/2 inch Monster Tach in my F250 4.6 Triton and if this works for me i am gonna be super happy cause i been hunting this elusive wire for tooo long.

Hope this helps
