Thank you. I am pretty excited. It's been a long time since I owned a good US made amp. It's an old school Z100S1VX. Years ago, a friend of mine won competition (119 db in the 100-200 watt class) with this amp pushing four 10" Super Pro Super Blue Woofers.

Yes, I have an aftermarket headunit. No, I dont need a wiring kit. I already had a sub wired in everything is still there just need to plug everything back in.

Im using this amplifier:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BF6...ifier+250+watt
And this sub and enclosure:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0068X...gate+subwoofer
They fit very well under the back seat in my ext. Cab and put out enough sound that I never have to turn the sub level up past halfway.

Have you considered anything like this?

My guess is that ^^ would out perform the Boss amp you posted earlier. That's a good price with amp, and wiring all built in. I say go for it. Unless you can get anything decent on Craigslist for $100 and then buy a box.

I got the Audiobahn out and actually hooker it up today. It sounds OK. The lows aren't as nice as I'd like, but it's a sealed box, so....
I actually ordered a kit for a Cherokee to raise the seat 1.25" Friday night. I'm hoping that's enough.
