every time i change gears my transmission makes this rustling noise, like a hiss and papers blowing away, its a five speed manual. when it does it i can feel it through the shifter. ??

Yes, manual transmissions have fluid for lubrication. My thought about the release bearing is when shifting gears it is under most pressure pushing on pressure plate. Not that experience on these later trans. Hopefully help will be along.
