Default Stance Suggestions and Info

I would like to make my truck look better with a wider stance. Im not talking anything crazy wide, just something that will stick out roughly a half inch to an inch from the fender. I plan on purchasing new rims and tires soon. I was going to run a 17x9 rim and a 285/70/17 tire. I just dont know what offset and backspacing to get. I have googled this and do see some trucks with the correct stance im looking for but there is little to no info on the rims and tires. So it makes it pretty difficult to determine what rim and tire combo will produce what type of stance. I am really opposed to running wheel spacers.
Thanks guys and gals

this is how my truck sits right now. Stock Fx4 17x7.5 Rims and 265/70/17 rims

I think you'll find some good info in here if you haven't looked yet: https://www.f150forum.com/f6/35s-tbars-cranked-197341/

Half inch spacers/adapters. I'm running 2011 ford ranger rims so the bolt pattern was slightly off. i had the bumper off while being painted.

dont have any close up pics but heres -12 offset with 35x12.50s, I had motometals with 0 offset and couldnt fit a 35 and wanted offset but after alot of research wheels spacers were not the best option because of safety and anything over -20 offset puts strain on the front end

You'll be fine running a quality hub centric spacer like bora. The bad rap on spacers is the cheap *** ebay ****. Expect to spend $175+ for good spacers
