Question Stacks

I was wondering if anyone had any pics or advice on putting stacks on a truck. I have an 01 F-150 with a 5.4 and also was wondering if they can be functional because i hear some people put them on for looks.

Ok here we go

1.they won't do a thing to help your power
2.they don't belong on a 1/2 truck, barely on a 3/4
3.they sure as hell dont belong on a gas truck
4.every single truck owner on the planet will give you **** for having them for all those reasons. Then you'll realize how stupid they are on a gas truck.

I'm begging you to not do it, but its not my truck...

I don't think they are any different than any other thing people do to their trucks.I see a lot of things on here that make me shake my head.

Making them functional would be a must. Just bolting them in the bed for looks would be about as cheezy as you could get.

It's your truck, and if you like them, go for it.

if you dont go through water thats over your hood there is no need, they do look good
but beside that if you do put on stacks make sure there is 2 stacks
i just hate when a truck has a single stack, just dont seem right

make them functional if you do it, but be forewarned... some people may like it.. but almost everyone will hate it and give you sh*t for putting them on a 1/2 ton gasser

Back before they put diesels in pickup trucks lots of guys did it on gas jobs! It's not just a diesel thing! I wouldn't do it on my truck but If you like it go for it!! If you want advice on running the pipe just ask! I have put stacks on alot of trucks!
