sporty truck tires with that classic look?
Hi guys,
Looking to put some new tires on my 2000 F150, V6, 2X4, stock 16" rims. What I want (and cannot for the life of me find) are some raised solid white letter all season tires (not all-terrain, not outline white) for a classic sporty truck look. And maybe a little wider, like 265 or 275.
Closest I can find are BF Goodrich Radial T/A, Firestone Firehawk Indy 500, or the Cooper tire (pictures attached). But these are not truck tires. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

GT Radial Savero HT2. Can be found at your local discount tire in a 265/70/17. The pictures on google show that the raised white letters are outlined but my neighbor just had these installed and it has the raised solid white wall like the BFGs. head down to one of their stores and see if that's the look you're going for.

You have a v6 2wd. As long as you don't haul or tow too often you can put any tire of the size you want on. The only thing that makes a tire a truck tire is the LT designation before the size (LT265/70R16 or P265/70R16). LT means it has a higher load capacity, stiffer sidewall, usually more aggressive tread. P rated tires are 4ply or load range B. LT tires range from 6-10 ply or load range C- E.
