You should be able to get that from a parts store, if not start search the internet. Or this place might have one. http://monstertrans.com/store/

I know that parts stores can cross reference, could try calling a couple in the A.M., or a local transmission shop.

Okay. I'll try in the morning. You mean a parts store like Napa?

All righty then. I thank you so much for your help AFSOCSGT.

I'm sure glad I stayed true to the Ford product. They've never let me down and this seems like another great site just like THERANGERSTATION was to me some years back.

I'll post up the results of this speedo gear swap. I plan on doing it this weekend along with a full tuneup!

Before I tore the driveline apart, I decided to try a website called justanswer.com, I paid $18 to post my question, which was answered by a certified ford mechanic who is verified by the site. He advised that the VSS actually transmits an AC (alternating current) signal to the speedometer, and that I should follow the path from the VSS to the speedometer to see where I lost the signal. If I have it at the cluster plug, then the problem is the cluster. Soo I set the rearend up on the jackstands and did just what he said. I was able to follow the signal (which varies with speed) to the GEM, and to the cluster plug. Soo I went to the salvage yard and got a cluster. Voilla'! The speedometer works again! Best $20 I've spent. I just wish I would have done that 2 weeks ago!
