Electrical issue
I have a 2001 Supercrew 5.4 with 132,000 miles that has started experiencing electrical problems. When I start the engine and pull away all the electrical items (dash, radio, lights, air) all flash off for a second and then come back on. The Battery is about a month old, and the connectors are clean and have been checked. Has anyone experienced this problem?

OVERTHINKER
I would check the battery and also the main wiring harness going into the cab. Also make sure the windshield is not leaking. Ford had some problems with leaks on the driverside.

After checking what torkum had in mind, and the problem still continues, I would replace the battery. I had a Saturn with a aftermarket remote starter in it and I replaced the battery cuz the old died and when I used the remote start, the starter itself would click twice and that would be it. i could start the car myself and drive without any problems. My Dad had a suggestion to get a different battery because sometimes, even month old batteries, have a bad cell in them and that maybe causing your lights to go out for a moment.
But it may be something else... Did your truck come with a stock alarm system??

Battery Replaced
I replaced the battery, but it didn't solve the problem. Now I noticed that when all this occurs if I raise the engine RPMs, it goes off. So I assume that it may be the alternator....aaagghhh!!!
