Default Speakers don't work

All of a sudden my stereo has a proper readout, but no sound from any speakers, is there a connection somewhere that just affects the speakers?

We need more info before we can help. Year of truck, trim line, cd changer? Im thinking it may just be time for a new head unit though.

Ok, that rules out any possibility of an external amp (good thing). If it were me I would go find a stock replacement from a salvage yard and hook it up. I would bet money that the outputs are burned inside the head unit.

There is only one plug on the back of these so not a whole lot can go wrong with the wiring.
