Default Spark Plugs

Can someone give me a clue where the spark plugs are located on a 2003 F 150 4.6 litre v8?
Thanks, Bob

Located under the coils. Hence COP, coil on plug. Top of engine near fuel rail.

Default Spark plug location

Thanks for the above spark plug location info--we recently got a 2000 F150 161,000 mi with 4.6L V8 for our son & I wanted to show him sparkplugs & plug wires but saw nothing on side of motor over exhaust manifold, and had no idea till I saw the above response. Now I see the "Motorcraft" sparkplug logo (yellow sticker atop each coil). I initially thought those were the injectors but now I see those coming off the fuel rail. For me it was a new feature. Plugs are more accessible at top of the motor vs below valve covers.
Ben came home yesterday saying "Check Engine" light and oil warning light was on and motor ran rough. On test drive oil pressure was fine but suddenly engine ran rough, so we limped back home while I suspected a bad plug wire--turns out we were low on coolant (temp gauge on "hot"). Then he found in owner's manual that motor is designed to not fire on selected cylinders when it overheats. Nice feature!

Good luck changing the back plugs 4 and 8, the firewall gets in the way. Take a good look at it before you jump in.
