Default Spark Plug Weirdness

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share an interesting spark plug change with everyone and ask for some input. I decided to change out the plugs on my truck on the weekend (4.2L v6 5-spd). What I noticed was one bank of plugs (the right side when you're looking at the engine from the front of the truck) had rounded electrodes that were *slanted* on a 30degree angle instead of wearing down flat and rounded like all the other plugs I've ever changed in my day. To add to that the 3 plugs from the left bank were all normal - worn but normal.

Has anybody seen anything like this before? BTW I installed NGK G-Power platinums and the truck seems to have a lot more power in and around town but I tend to think that's because it looks like the previous owner had never done the plugs and they were fairly worn out.

Love to hear any input you guys might have on this - I'm hoping there isn't something wrnog internally that I might have to spend $$$ on.
