I just hit 50k on my 2003 F-150 5.4 and want to change out my plugs. I've been told changing the plugs is not easy. I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to changing plugs and I know I don't have the right tools to do this. I'm looking for a list of tools I would need to make this job easier and any tips for a smooth job. Thanks in advance.

i just did it on my 03 5.4 it was a B**** but as long as u have a long swivel extension it helps alot and make sure that u blow the hole out before u go to pull the plug out becasue they get alot of crap down in there the tools that i used were (3/8 dive ratchet spark plug socket, mix of lenghts of 3/8 drive extensions, and i used 1/4 drive ratchet with a coulpe of extentions to get the bolts off for the coil packs but thats all that i can thnk that i used off hand to do it
