Default spark plug

have a f150 2003 just spend $700.00 with metro ford in miami to replace the intake manifold gaskets OOOUUUCCCHHHHH !!!!!! going to give it a tune up and replace the plug wires. which is the best plug to buy for mazimum performance

Use motocraft, get HP somewhere else.

he's right - these trucks don't seem to like non-oem plugs at all - I would recommend the motorcraft as well.

I haven't heard any negatives on this board about plug wires but I'm sure someone can chime in if there are some bad ones. Again I would go with Autolites and keep everything OEM if possible for the sake of the engine

i know msd makes some coil packs for our trucks i been thinking about trying them

I bought the MSD wires and so far no probelms, they cost $150....ouch

I bought the O'Rielly ones for like 6 bucks a piece. I used Di-electric grease on the spring connection and the end that goes on the plug. 1 yr later with no problems. Oh, like the others said....motorcraft plugs. They are great plugs. I also put nickel anti-sieze on the treads of the plugs because mine felt like they were going to break off when I took them out. If it feels like it's going to break, soak the plug with that PB lubricant catalyst, or an equivalent. Works wonders.
