they sell chrome vent covers if thats ur style, i personally dont like them, too tacky but thats just my opinion

You should attach the pocket above that stereo to the trim piece so that it is all one part and smooth out all the upper corners, that is something that I have never seen done before.

Sounds like a good idea but the dash kit is all one piece so I wouldn't be able to without buying a new dash kit and finding a way to modify it to look smoothed in.
