Default Smoothest looking dash piece I've done..

This is more of a work log for this piece.. My dad drove my truck one day after I went to work and broke one of the AC vent adjustments.. I found a matching color surround on Craigslist and today I met up with the guy and bought it. $50 later I had replaced the vent and had started chopping up the spare surround I had from the Expedition the guy had removed the piece from. I got bored and started cutting the middle piece off of the surround, which normally covers a gap between the stock radio and the A/C controls. Next thing I know I'm bondoing it to smooth the place that was out!

My truck is Oxford White but I'm still going to paint it gloss white after sanding the piece with 1500 grit, then clear over it, then wet sand it with some REALLY REALLY REALLY high grit sandpaper..
