Slight tick on startup

But it's worth mentioning if it's coming from the wheel well area it's probably just leaky manifolds due to broken / missing / rusted manifold bolts. The factory exhaust mani gaskets can also go bad a leak a bit. Best to check that before buying other stuff.
there's no ticks or broken studs besides on direct startup or if you drive it before the RPMS drop down to 770ish after startup.

If you can hear it under the hood its lash adjusters. Common on high mileage modulars.

I found the tick. the passenger exhaust manifold has a stud broke.

it's defiantly the motor. One of the studs are broken on the passanger manifold and it only does it for 3 or so seconds when it's been sitting over night. ( metal expands when hot ) therefore stopping the tick

Normally let it idle until the idle drops into the mid 700's then no tick or anything when driving if not it'll tick for a few blocks then stops. i noticed it when i had the fender liner out on the passenger side and it sounds like the passenger side
