all i did was sand them down and sprayed them with whatever color you want the letters to be... then tape off the letters. What i did was put a strip of tape over the whole thing then cut out the letters. it was really easy. then spray with whatever color you want the background to be. peel the tape and your done. make sure your first color is nice and dry first or you will peel it off. i did that the first time and it pulled some paint and i got really pissed haha. good luck man.

thanks man, only that side looks that good... the passenger side got raked down a tree from the rear door onto the bed, hopefully christmas time that'll be fixed.. and the paint is kind of fading away in places, to be repainted soon!
i like the way my tails came out a lot better than last time i tried it.

ok its the brown and yellow wire you splice, fogs are on all the time whenever any light is on, ie.. parking lights, low beams, high beams

Actually I did mine so that they are on only when the switch is pulled out. See post #20 In this thread to do the switch mod. You have to splice a different wire to do this mod though. It's in the same thread also.

I tried it before and couldn't cut the letters out good enough.. may try again sometime in the future lol.
