And I guess I'll differ here, I think you should keep the skid plate silver. I think it really puts accent on that area because it's goes along with your silver paint job. If it was on any other color truck, then I'd probably say paint it, but I think it looks great like that.

Lol. It's not even Monday and you're talking gibberish.
Well, some people just tape off around the emblems and them put a large area of newspaper around to avoid overspray, then just put a few coats of your choice of spray paint then clear coat it.
Another way is to remove the emblem completely and then do the steps above, and then glue/epoxy the emblem back onto the truck. I think there's a how to somewhere around here, or it could be on another site.
Basically, do what you did to your fender flares to the emblems.
