If you regear it then it's not bad, actually cam feel better than stock. These trucks really should have had 3.73s as the standard option instead of 3.55s, with 4.10s as an option instead of 3.73s (at least for the trucks that came with 265s). I'm about to regear mine to 4.56s which would be close to what 4.10s would have been on stock tires.

Mine came with the 3.73's, guess it was special ordered by having factory 3.73's? Also came with factory 17" Wheels.

axle codes B5 & X27 are both 4.10 gears optioned from factory.
B5 is 4.10LS (Limited Slip)
X27 is 4.10 Open diff.

I've never actually seen one with factory 4.10s.. was it a 7700 option?
