Like you mentioned, maybe a slight rub out or just a good waxing to all of it when your ready will do the trick.

Wish i could even entertain the idea off buffing my truck. The paint is chipping all over and looks like garbage.

My paint correction job would be an actual repaint of the truck.

Heres my 2001 5.4 with 164000. I hunt hard with this truck and I am very impressed by it. Virtually zero maintemance outside of the spark plug issue that these trucks are famous for.

What type of thread is on those tires? Looks like they do a good job. But not true mud grips? That is what I'm going to put on mine. As most times 4x4 will be used to get into and out of boat ramps. Along with field roads that I use to get into our hunting stands. Being we haul semi loads of grain out these roads. They never get bad, just slick some times.

Looks good VAHunter96. Surprised it still runs w/ hardly any maintenance. But they are resilient that's for sure.

The 5.4 is a tough one we had one that we got 50 or 60k out of with a bent crank
