He drove Chevy his whole life and worked for GM for 40 years and was die hard Chevy. He had over a million miles on the road pulling Trailers. I'd bet my life he did nothing to those trucks that wasn't supposed to be done.

He's dead now so there's probably no much use in arguing with him. If anyone wants it, I'll give them his grave address so they can prove their point and show him who's boss.
Sounds like his luck was like my Late Uncles. He bought a new Harley Davidson addition F150. Made it home 12 miles. Motor locked up turning into his driveway. Tow truck took it back to the dealers lot. It did not have enough oil in it. They could only find 2 qts in it. New engine and he takes off to Fl for a motor cycle rally. Pulling a 24ft motor cycle trailer. Had to get a new Trans put in the truck in Fl. Comes back home and a few months later him and my aunt head to Surgus SD to ride in the off season there. Got back to Kc on the way back to West Tn. Engine no 2 let go on him. They stay there in KC and ride for a week. Get the truck back and head home. 5 weeks later engine no 3 lets go.
He gets a new truck out of the deal. And I still bet each engine was his fault. As he called me when he got to Fl from Tn. I figured up the time and he had to average 93 MPH to get the trip made the time frame. He ran a peterbilt 2.5 million miles trouble free. But the Ford did like like him. And his Cb handle was Lead Foot.

Pshhh, I'm doubting it would be more than a 10 hour drive for anyone?

Well I mean it could be. Just depends on what way you go. Lol I can take the long way around and drive up the eastern shore then down around DC and drive in and out of West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee and then cut back over and go to the Richmond area. Or I could just drive straight over to where he is in about an hour and 45 minutes
