There's also a TSB about doors rusting at the bottom flange (for door panels and tailgates) That a rather complex fix lol. Lots of door problems on these trucks it seems.

At least they're posting fixes, but I can't see the fix for the TSB your referring to working very well lol.
is this like on the bottom lip of the doors like how on my truck, the driver door has rust on the bottom lip along where the seam is by the drain holes for the inside of the door?

or something else? yeah I hope you know what I meant by my description lol.

There's two different problems I'm talking about within the quote you quoted me on.

I don't know about drain holes, but yea, the bottom of the door where the two panels come together. That would be the bottom of the quote as well.

Mine is like the first pic but uglier. Bubbled the paint around it then popped like a pimple. Developed into a rust mole without the hair.

One of those bullet hole stickers would still cover it I think, - haven't looked at it in awhile. Oh , I think I hit it with touch up in fact.

Tinted and under coated. Still have to grind some welds and sand some body filler, but cosmetic wise she's about done, until I can afford new paint.
