Post some pics of the output of those 7.0s when you get them in. I was stuck between them and the mini d2s projectors. I ended up getting the d2s, they came in yesterday. I have mh1s in my headlights now but those will come out and the d2s stuff will go in. Then the mh1 stuff will go in the fogs

Nice, yeah I'm excited for the 7.0s, I'm a little nervous about the heat, I got 50 w ballasts before I knew how hot they got.. I'm about to drive from MD to TX without stopping and will be doing a looooot of night driving. I know the 7.0s are built to withstand 50w but I don't know about the lens on my headlight housings. I also got 6500k bulbs, not sure if that adds even more heat or not.

The color of the bulbs shouldn't add anymore heat. Those 6500k bulbs will burn at a 5500k color at 50w, if you didn't already know that. Actually they Will probably burn closer to 6000k. Our housings are big enough so I wouldn't worry to much about the heat. There was actually a big debate on hid plant a few weeks back about how much hotter 50w Is than 35 watt. From what people are reporting over there, the bulb and inside the projector is a little bit hotter but not as hot as everyone makes it sound. And outside the projector the heat difference is very slim

the 6500k bulbs will burn closer to 5000k to 5500k once they're fully broken in, not closer to 6000k.

False lol there has been a lot of testing done and the Xb 35s tend to only loose 500-600k. Plus a fully broken in bulb goes up in K not down

I meant to put the xb35 bulbs tend to only loose 500-600k when you power them at 55w and the more hours you put on the bulb the higher the color temp will go. Lol is that better
