Bad batches happen, if you want to give them a try and see for yourself, that's fine. They aren't terrible, but there are better shocks out there.
I don't really care. If you want solid evidence why don't you buy a few different shock absorbers, set up a little lab/test route and compile some data driving with each different set....because it sounds like that's what your logic wants. Take my opinion, experience, advice or whatever you want to call it as you may wish. That's what I have to say about their shocks.....real world experience. Other people may have better things to say, I don't see too many people on other forums or in the real world that do. When someones asks advice or opinion on a certain product you never get "solid evidence"....you get their experience and what they have heard.

Lol... I just can't help myself, it looks so dang good! And as a big bonus my f-150 runs and sounds and rides even better than it looks!

My F-150, I do like saying that! lol, my sister told me that now that I finally own one to tell you guys we don't own the road. I stopped her and replied "but we do... check the number of f-150's sold". hehehe

Love this idea! I used to want to do this! Slap some solar panels on there and you're golden!

Still researching the best way to power an Igloo thermoelectric cooler... it draws 5amps and 60 watts. Thinking solar won't run it so a second battery and larger alternator are a possibility. Yup... going camping indeed!

If you did a deep cycle battery wired into the charging system you would be fine. A larger alt would be a good idea. There is actually a how to on here.

If you did a flexible panel on the roof of the topper I bet you could get awat with a standard alt.

Just having fun figuring the best way to set up my rig for its intended purpose. So far it seems the best will be a deep cycle battery for the thermoelectric cooler. But I am sure open to opinions and options!
