I think lift kits get a lot of hate for what they are, and rightfully so, they really don't do anything for most people but look good. For me it is great because when I am trimming a tree, no more teatering on a ladder and getting down to move 2', now I am much safer in the bed, on the toolbox / cab trimming that tree. As said everyone has different views, I myself did it to stand out and look good. Reason being is my truck is the first thing that I have that I am proud of, I am 16 and I have 15k into it all paid off, so I am going to do the stupid kid crap and show off lol. I will say this will be my last lift kit, it is just not worth it. My next truck will be stock with maybe new wheels and a grill guard.

Most people get lifts around where I live for extra clearance getting around fields.

5k in the truck, about 5k in repairs, and about 5k in aftermarket. I think I am almost pushing 6k in repairs now
