Well for one I'm not lifting my truck, and even when I do it it won't be over 3-4". Second, I personally don't like super wide tires, the 285/70 17s I have on it right now look great to me. Different strokes for different folks.

I hope so, I've never painted wheels before, I hope I don't screw them up. I've got a buddy that did his and has had no issues, so he's going to help me.

Its not real hard, as long as you be careful and take yoir time. I did my wheels after never doing it before, came out really good for how corroded the were if I say so myself

That eases my mind some. The only stuff I've painted are the plastic grill, the wiper arms, and I bedlined my roof rack and door handles on my crappy Durango. It all came out good though. I'm buying it all now, but I won't be able to paint for a few weeks until that temp stays above 50.

Most anyone will tell you paint is all about prep. With a few test sprays to get a feel for a similar surface and the gun/can, the actual painting is not hard. I was nervous as ****, with limited experience myself, but I took my time and the primer came out nice, then I carefully started off painting and clear coating and they turned out really good. Granted it wasn't even for a year, but, Never did see any difference in the finish, so seems pretty durable for cheap stuff too.
