I don't think it actually takes that long to make custom leaf springs.. Add a leaf just makes the ride stiffer. And idk about how much custom leafs would be but I highly doubt it's above $300.

Its not about rasing it,its how you raise it. The leafs aren't gonna go anywhere, two blocks sitting on each other will.

He doesn't need custom leaf springs really. He just wants another 2" or so in the back,an add a leaf will do that

But that AAL with also make the ride stiffer. And you don't NEED to lift a truck in general either. But people do. And custom leafs will get him the lift height he's looking for, without the use of blocks or stacked blocks, and it'll ride the same or better than factory.

But you're going the expensive and long process route lol. Just get an aal and be done, there are plenty of our trucks rolling with aal and no complaints.

Custom leafs isn't that much more expensive and it isn't really any longer than adding a block or doing shackles.

I would run an AAL over stacked blocks any day. And over the cost of getting custom leafs if still do the AAL, a stiffer ride doesn't bother me after driving 3/4 ton and bigger trucks all the time, plus if you ever tow it won't squat like a dog taking a dump.
