You spent $528 to have someone put your lift on? Its a two day project,the way I look at it is I don't make $250 a day so I'll do it myself.
Dam right I spent the money to have a professional do it...I have a lifetime warranty on all the parts by doing that but if I would have done it myself that warranty would have been voided...and i didn't have to worry about the aggravation of removing all the tight worn out parts...let someone else worry about it
You know way more about it doing it yourself. You don't know if the guy at the shop got side tracked and told his part time guy to torque the u bolts,who forgot to do it and now you have a pile of parts for a truck. I'd prefer to do everything myself if its in my league.
That had me come back twice just to check everything, make sure no bolts worked there way loose and I watched them check everything and they really looked it over...free of charge and like I said the place I took it to does it all the time and has all the right tools for the job...they also took care of mounting my new tires and realigning my front end so I didn't have to worry about anything
