Yeah I not sure what to do...people say that about the cold air intakes but I know it helped me gain horsepower but not much of a change In Gas mileage

A cold air is worse than stock. Its not really cold air. Its usually just sucking hot engine bay air in rather than air from infront of the rad like stock. The only reason it seems like you gained is because you have bigger piping than stock. Youd get the same performance with the gotts mod and get true cold air.

The longtube headers are gonna give you maybe 8-10hp which is barley noticeable in our big trucks. I would do gears before any mod. That will easily be the biggest difference for the buck. As far as cai this is what convinced me.

I really notice it in lower gears when I take off and it definitely wasn't like that with stock in. Regardless I really like the way it looks under the hood cuz I got the chrome K & N so it pops out once the hood is lifted.

The metal tube from K&N makes it even worse. I'm running stock with a AFE dry dry filter and a gotts mod and can tell there was a difference..

Well I can tell a big difference and love the look of the chrome tube....all the reviews I looked up and truck people I talked to said it's a good thing to have on cuz you get better air flow than the stock....I want to get a functional hood with air ducts so I get more air flow into it

All that matters is you like it and don't see it as a waste of money. I feel bad for the people that drop 250 on a cai and didn't feel a difference. I want a ram air hood as well.

Yeah I really feel it kick in when I'm in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear.....after that not so much. Definitely not a waste of money for me and with a lift and bigger tires gas mileage sucks regardless. I just need more horsepower out of my 4.6 engine....always wish I would have gotten a truck with the 5.4! If I could find a Harley lightning engine and computer and whatever else that I need to make it compatible with my truck...need to find one that was crashed without engine being messed up

it looks to me that it has either a leveling kit put on or just a 4" lift. I would say leveling kit cuz that's about the distance from my tire to the top of the fender with mine on
