Loving this new setup, next thing to do is repaint the frame to clean it up. Any tips to the best way to do it without having to remove the bed or cab?

I just washed it real good with simple green then used a Scotch Brite pad to scuff it then got all the dust off and sprayed it with black VHT chassis paint.

Also sprayed the torsion bars with duplicolor stainless steel paint.

How much masking did you have to do?

Alright cool, thanks I was trying to decide to break out the wire wheel or not. That is is a really cool idea with the silver on the torsion bars, I saw that paint at the store yesterday but didn't know how to incorporate it, and if it would look good or not.

Only masked around the torsion bars when I went to paint them. And the wires and fuel lines on the drivers side. The rest I really didn't mess with.

Thanks it turned out cool. I'm going to eventually do my back axle black and do the diff cover silver to tie into the bars. I did the same on my highboy and it looked good too.

If you have time, Removing the bed is a good idea. The spare tire braces and bed crossovers are notorious bad spots

I spent a ton of time doing my frame just to have the por15 peel off, once I get a second truck and won't be playing with the 150 I'm repainting it all. No reason to repaint it just to have it mud stained lol.
