yes, let's please get back to trucks. but while you may well mean well, you have a weird way of showing it. I hate to break it to you but calling names and stuff hurts peoples feelings and is the kind of **** you see from a bully in grade 3. I mean, come on. not doing that would be the first sign you do mean well on here. second of all making single man cracks and stuff....you might mean it as a joke but that's far from the way that comes across, especially in typing. and while you might mean it as a compliment, most people I'm betting don't take cute as compliment on a full size truck. that's why you hear aggressive and similar terms used as compliments in the truck world.

I've seen one post I can say was clear, complimentary and useful. read this. no name calling or things that sound sarcastic and insulting, just straightforward praise. a joke is one thing but taking it to the level you seem to without making it clear that it is a joke is another. if you could make more comments like the quote below, chances are you wouldn't have people reacting the way they do. but most come across as insulting and hurtful, including but not limited to the 98 you referred to.

what y'all getting done?

started out as hard long starts unless it was warm. Then one day it had a hard time starting and would idle at 200rpm then shoot to 3,000 rpm and back down to 400rpm. Couldnt hold it steady. Was missing terribly. Couldnt find any vaccum leaks, changes fuel pressure regulator and a few other things. Was completly stumped so to the shop it went.

Edit: all this happened within a weeks time

like, I don't get it. make fun of people and their truck, especially hiding behind a keyboard to do it, and you try to tell him off the harsh way and it's like talking to a wall, I try to be nice and explain it in a nice way and look what happens.

I never made fun of anyone or there trucks. Maybe those couple of guys who were saying mean and hurtful things to me should be the ones getting treated like this and reprimanded by the mods. Not me.
