Well I took that little small piece that goes all the way around the valence off. But it still scrubs a little
We used a cut-off wheel and trimmed it on a 45 angle down near the bottom. Then used a file to clean it up, but some sandpaper will work, too. Didn't take quite enough off the driver's side, so it sometimes rubs when turning left into a parking lot.
Right now it looks factory, but I don't think I'd want to trim for 37's.

I really like the lightning truck, but this is my daily driver and has been since I bought it in 2001. I wanted a lightning with extended cab for my 3 kids and 4 wheel drive for the bad weather but they didn't make what I wanted. I bought my truck and drove it for a few years like it was and I liked it ok but I did not like how small the tires looked in the wheel wells and I hated how it rolled in the corners. I thought about trading it off but I did not like the look of the new body style as well. so I decided to build the truck I wanted. I started off by lowering it and putting on bigger wheels and tires. I also increased the size of the sway bar so it handles a lot better now. then I put the ground effects kit and the tonneau cover on it. also the roll pan with hidden hitch. then I bumped up the power with the kenne bell supercharger. it makes the truck a lot of fun to drive. I do not do any off roading where I live and I have an 06 f250 superduty if I need to so I do not miss the ground clearance and for what I do I love the way it handles. some people hate the fact that I lowered a 4x4 but the truck is built for me and for the way I use it and I am very happy with it.
I have also put on edelbrock headers a complete custom exhaust and put linear actuators on the bed cover so it lifts with a key fob remote.
how much did the supercharger kit cost you? looks awesome
