Why didnt you pull it since you were doing so much work? I have never done that much work, or pulled a motor but would seem easier to do so.

It would be easy to pull when its down to the block but when you try to pull the whole motor intake and heads and valve covers its a major pain in the ***. Didnt feel like doing that and unbolting from the tranny and everything.

I also didnt do anything to the block so no need to pull it.

Im not sure yet. The F150s just been sitting since ive gotten my Suburban. The Burb is stock and just more practical so i havent really driven the truck.

Ive been trying to decide what to do if i sell it.. either fix up the Suburban more, use the funds to continue building my car or find a clean low milage 96-98 Silverado/Sierra, and sell the Suburban. Im thinking the latter.

But now youve got me thinking... i wouldnt mind doing a solid axle swap on the burb, mild lift on 35s.. and build a practical trail worthy, rig i could use every day
