I played around with my clay bar polish and wax and it makes a huge difference. I don't know how good you can see it but this is only from small spot I cleaned off clay

bared and polished with fine cut polish with a DA. After that I did a swirl remover and wax and it looks 10x better and no scratches. You can kinda see how the scratches just end in this pic

You can kinda see scratches coming from the left and ending with only one pass of fine cut

Dude, wow, that makes quite the difference. At first I didn't notice the scratches but after looking again I saw them and damn that's definitely a lot better. That one big scratch looks similar to some of them on my truck and also the swirl scratches and all that too, but in a few spots I have some scratches that are a little worse that probably need a medium cut. But that helps me out some, I might be able to get away for the most part with just doing the fine cut and swirl remover then a good coat of wax.

I was planning on buying a rotary buffer and a bottle of medium cut this weekend but my diff kinda screwed that up lol. It looks even better after the swirl remover and wax though. I have about 8-10 scratches like that all the way down that side of the truck lol. I'm so glad they're coming out though.

I'm just using a really cheap DA polisher but really wanting a rotary just cause I used a buddy's the other day and loved it lol. Probably just gonna use what I have now and get this diff thing straightened out.

What's the difference between the rotary one you're talking about and the one you have right now? I don't know much about buffers lol
