This is actually the second truck I've owned. I owned a '78 F250 I bought back in 1998 at an auction. I owned that old tank for two years before selling it to a junker. lol
what???? I'm so confused by your truck in so many ways... First of it has 7 lug wheels, which would be from a f150 7700 or f250 LD for 97/98 years, your truck is also a 4.2l which I don't believe came with the f250 LD or 7700?? I'm just so confused.. But nice truck none the less.

Those are just covers with fake lugs, his wheels would be 5 lug underneath

Why in the hell would you put covers on your wheels to give the impression that you have more lugs?? That's pretty stupid..

I mostly see them on 8 lug wheels actually, they're stock on ford vans and see them used on old square body fords and the odd superduty so usually it looks like there's one less. My guest would be they're for looks not the number of fake lugs. Mind you I prefer the bare painted steel myself if I can't have alloys, but to each their own

I'd rather run rusty wheels than put those caps on my wheels.

Yeah agreed, I do like aloys though haha. But at least a bare steel wheel is a bare steel wheel, a cheap tough workhorse. A steelie with ahubcap looks like a lame attempt at alloys but you see right through the fake.

That she has my friend. Truck looks great. I might have to upgrade to some 20s at some point this year.

On a side note though.. Not sure if I've posted this picture before or not, but I like it.
