**** the only time I take my truck off road is what I'm going hunting and even then it's not very far….I'm not an off-road kind of guy to be taking my truck in the mud holes and ripping and tearing on powerlines or anything else!!!

There's actually a huge difference.

I'm sure BrowningSCrew could explain it better than me, but blocks raise the leaf springs away from the axle, making a point for failure to happen, and doing an AAL just increases the stiffness of the leaf springs to raise the truck.

Your safest best riding option is to get a custom leaf springs made for your truck. It'll probably ride better than factory but you'll have the height you're looking for and the suspension travel you want when you do happen to be out in the woods hunting. Plus when you pull up next to the next guy who lost his rear axle because he had stacked blocks you can look at him and tell him he should've gone custom lol.

Ant nothin wrong with blocks. Just don't stack. I'm not someone who tears you stuff or muds either just dirt roads and woods and work for me but I still would never trust stacked blocks get the rite size block to start with and u won't have to worry bout having pronlems

No way I would wait to have custom leaf spring made...maybe an add a leaf...I'm gonna call the company tmrw that got the blocks in and putting them on and see what they say...it's already costing me $230 so custom leaf springs will prbly beore than that
