Yeah I agree with that with a work truck, but with my red truck I am trying to get rid of ALLLLLL chrome. Absolutely hate chrome on a red truck. White and black it looks good with, but a red one I just cant stand all the chrome. But thats just me. Also living on the coast, chrome stuff just starts to look like s*** too quick from all the salt in the air.

And leave the stock smoked ones.

One up them. Take the tailgate, slide it out locktite the **** out of the hinges and latch remove tailights that were yours. Shut tailgate. Bam. They are tailightless. Muah
