Default Show me your switches!

I need to put a switch or two in the dash somewhere, and the silly thing is so rounded and bubbly that I'm having trouble visualizing where to put them that is convenient and doesn't look like butt.

So yea, it's vain and silly, but show me your switches.

Lmao. A popular place to put switches in these trucks is on the small plastic panel that hugs around the steering column and the bottom of the gauge cluster.

I would hide switches in the factory cubby space to the right and below the column. Maybe the fuse box cover. If you don't have 4x4 or airbag shutoff. Center vent panel. All depends on what kind of switch being used. I prefer a clean look myself, hidden! Cubby!

Do you if you have a 2wd or a 4x4 with the floor shifter if so you can put them where the electric 4x4 switch goes below the vent next to the radio I had one there or if you have a aftermarket single din radio the spot above the radio on the dash kit is good too

Haha!
Seriously though I would try to hide some small circular rocker switches somewhere...

In the cubby under the column if you have one... down low on the dash somewhere under the column etc... I Wouldn't try to put them on display as they can look tacky if you don't get the right type of if they stand out like a sore thumb...

It's a 4WD with ESOF, so that switch sucks up that spot on the dash. I could put a switch plate in the din pocket above the stereo, but I use that pocket. I've looked at spots under the column, but I'm a long legged guy and I dunno if there's anywhere under there that wouldn't be in danger from my knees.

Keep the ideas coming though. I agree that I don't want them to look out of place, I like a clean dash too, and if they're hidden that's even better. I'm considering hiding them inside the cup holder on the passenger side.

These are the switches I have for my KC's and bumper lights. The empty one with the wire around the 4x4 stick should be going to the lights in the back but something is haywire.
