Show me your switches!

The wire around the 4x4 stick will be fixed when I find a switch as the other one broke, and that wire will be tucked away out of sight along with the rest of them lol. I don't have the tools, nor the know-how to mount the switches any better, and for me they work and are in a usable place. The only thing that got in my way as you seen was the power booster, it was too close to the switches pushing the other switch cover cockeyed. running the wire from the lights / battery to the switch probably took 15 minutes and when you open up the hood, you only see maybe a foot of wire wire it is pretty much impossible to hide without major modifications. Again, I would love to get the wires separated and ran in better locations so it is not a jumbled mess, but I don't have the slightest clue on how to do that. The switches will stay where they are at as it is a lot of un-needed work on my part for simply cosmetic reasons.

There's a reason why I have my aux reverse lights on a relay triggered by the factory reverse circuit... I don't like drilling holes in the dash... Yeah I'd like to be able to turn them on here and there while hooking up my trailer etc... but it's not that big of a deal, and I'd rather not have switches on my dash for em, but that's just me...

I found this that I might use, seems to be a relatively flat space right behind the steering wheel on the right side that's big enough -

I looked at the overhead console, there's a little bit of space up there I could use and I need to take it apart to fix the compass/temp display anyway. I'm like Red-Ford there, never done a bunch of 12v wiring, how would you route the wires? Under the ceiling liner and down the a pillar?

I don't, I've got a 60/40 bench. I would love buckets with a center console.

And there ya go, no ugly wires!

Wiring is easy, hot wires, grounds, hot when key on wires, pretty much all you need to know.... Make sure your running inline fuses as a precaution incase you overload something you want to stop it before it gets to far or burns a wire up. Zip ties, electrical tape and heat shirk are your friends.

Agreed, but only when used correctly! No balled up electrical tape, untrimmed huge zip ties or heat shrink tubing cut too short and shrunk past the wire coating lol. ..
Electrical tape... stretch and wrap, only where heat shrink tubing can't be applied... don't just wrap it around and squish it closed...
Heat shrink tubing, cut 3/4" or so longer than exposed wire to be covered... heat evenly with a heat gun until tight...
Zip ties, always trim and use the smallest size possible for the application...
And I don't even use the regular connectors anymore... all heat shrink for a better look...
I don't care if nobody sees any of this stuff, I know it's there...
