devonpa777 Hey guys, I'm in need of some help if anyone has experienced this rather strange problem. My engine was all dusty & filthy, so I had it hosed out dry it out with a compressor and had all shine up with some WD40, I noticed shortly after it began idling pretty rough, I thought ok it should settle down soon once the water dries out, it is now well over a week and it has not stopped. I have checked the injectors even changed all the o-rings, changed the air filter, checked the coil packs(all 8), I have even had my scanner hooked up and she still won't through a code. She idles pretty badly in P and worst when she's in gear....... Has anyone experienced this problem before that could help lead me out of my misery. Thanks a million

Bleeds FORD Blue
It would help to know what vehicle, engine size, year. I would recheck COP. Theyre very prone to becoming faulty if water sits inside the spark plug well(sorry not sure what you call that area)where the boot connects to the spark plug. check hoses, you may have vacuum leak.

Actually, I tried removing it on the weekend, but ended up stripping the head of one the bolts, so I didn't get it off to check it physically. I know the IAC is receiving the correct voltage, but I couldn't get a back probe with the connection on its position is not easiest thing in the world to get to, Ill try some more this weekend....Thanks
