Default Rusted Torsion Bar/PLEASE HELP

Hello,
I'm pulling my tranny and I need to take off the torsion bar. I have all the tension off of the bar but the bar is rusted good on both the control arm and the torsion bar braket. I've sprayed with rust blaster and even hit with a sledge and still no movement. Does anyone know any ideas that will work.

Thanks,
Brian

You can try to heat the control arm up anbd pull them out befor you try to cut them. But it isnt recomended that you heat up suspension parts.

The only area where they should be hung up is in the lower control arms.. Where they fit into the X member they are just dry fitted.. I can see how rust may be a problem but the real problem is getting them to move forward enough to release from the lower control arms.. I've said it before.. A air hammer if anything will work. its hard to swing a sledge while laying under your truck. even if its up on a lift.. But a air hammer hits hundreds of times while extreme force with just a pull of a trigger..
