where do you live? Up in Canada any 12 year old vehicle is going to have quite a bit of underbody rust as well as some spots on the body due to all the salt in the winter.

Yeah, it's just the nature of the beast. I have a little, but not much. I use touch up paint to cover it after sanding it down and priming it again. Lots of wax and washing will keep the grime off of it.
