Default Running rough-power loss
My 98 5.4 when it starts in morning and if it sets a couple day runs horrible. Won't take gas. After it heats up and the more you drive it runs better. But still bogs down up hills and at hwy speeds. Throwing O2 sensor code. Has 180,000+ miles. Can't figure out what works better the hotter it gets.

Have you checked the Check Engine Light? Codes would help.

Yes it's throwing an O2 sensor code don't know specific code.

Sounds like it's time for plugs, wires and fuel filter.

Get the specific codes and we'd be able to give more detailed answers.

I'm still fairly new to the f150s. Wasn't sure which motors had the COPs.

All 97-03 5.4L's. All 01-03 4.6 f150's.
