rumbling noise when in 4WD
ok, search showed no matches. tried rumbling in 4WD & grinding in 4WD. just came up with threads having to do with exhaust.
but i just tried using my 4WD tonight & go like a rumbling noise. i havent tried looking at anything yet, since i just tried on my way home from work & it's crappy outside. im going to try & check it out tomorrow at work.
but basically i came to a stop light & figured i'd put it in 4WD since i was coming up to a decent sized hill. hit the ****, light came on. once the light tuned green, i hit the gas & started hearing a rumbling noise from the front. i pulled over, but when i stopped, i didnt hear the noise. switched back to 2WD, drove on the shoulder for a little & didnt hear anything. but once i switch back to 4WD, i can hear the noise again.
of course im not looking for an answer since i havent gotten a chance to even look at it. but i was wondering if you guys can just give me ideas to check out when i go to work tomorrow.
